Delta Community Living Society (DCLS) is seeking an energetic, fun, and experienced individual for the part-time position of Fund Development & Communications Manager. DCLS is a community-focused not-for-profit organization that was established in 1963 to support individuals living with developmental disabilities and their families to improve their quality of life. DCLS provides the highest quality of support services through staffed residential, community inclusion, recreational, home sharing, and respite services.
The Fund Development & Communications Manager position requires a community-focused leader capable of increasing the visibility of DCLS services within the community through creating, strengthening, and sustaining strategic alliances and partnerships.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Fund Development & Communications Manager is a member of the DCLS Management Team and is responsible for marketing, public relations, fund development, communication plans, and resource management. This part-time position is ideal for someone with creativity, passion, motivation, and entrepreneurial spirit.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of fundraising experience and proven knowledge of current tax legislation in regards to charitable giving. Experience working within a not-for-profit environment is essential, as well as strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
